EOG offers a summer internship program to qualified students pursuing careers in engineering, geoscience, land, information systems, safety, environmental, human resources, or accounting. Interns at EOG work on projects that not only provide valuable hands-on work experience but also firsthand knowledge and insight into our premier operations.

Disciplines

Engineering

Gain hands-on experience in drilling, facilities, and production operations, through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in both field and office settings

Geoscience

Utilize skills in stratigraphy, sedimentology, structural geology, log analysis, and geophysical interpretation

Land

Develop practical skills in title research, agreement drafting, regulatory interactions, and surface land management

Information Systems

Apply technical skills in development of in-house applications and contribute to projects that optimize the exploration and production of energy resources

Safety

Support programs and procedures to ensure a safe work environment, compliance with regulations, facility audits, and emergency response planning

Environmental

Assist with risk assessments, compliance reviews, and project initiatives that aim to reduce environmental impact

Human Resources

Acquire experience in recruitment and onboarding, employee records management, and employee engagement and development initiatives

Accounting

Gain practical experience in operations, division support, internal controls, or international accounting
